About Just Birmingham

Just Birmingham I am a Birmingham, Alabama street photographer with a fondness for signs, buildings and landmarks and the memories they evoke. "Just Birmingham" is a collection of photographs and posters representing my very best work in and around the Magic City, featured in four galleries:

Birmingham Landmarks, Posters, Cityscapes, and The Other Stuff.

"Birmingham Landmarks" is just that; photographs of the familiar icons around the Birmingham area.

"Posters" are posterized images of many of those same icons. Using a photograph as a basis, these images have been digitally altered to produce an appearance similar to a lithograph print poster and feature a wide, black border. These are best printed on "Luster Photo Paper".

The "Cityscapes" gallery offers broad views, often depicting the industrial heritage of Birmingham.

"The Other Stuff" is a rotating collection of images - many of these are from Birmingham with a sprinkling of Red Mountain Images' work from other places.
